The Hotter the Sun,the Harder It Blows.

The first industrial-grade, weatherproof fan that runs directly from a solar panel. Built for barns, run-in sheds, and pavilions—anywhere heat follows your animals but the power doesn't.

Four Steps. Thirty Minutes.
Walk Away.

No electrician. No permits. No extension cords across the pasture. Just a screwdriver and half an hour.
1

Mount the Panel

Screw four Z-brackets to any south-facing roof, fence post, or ground frame. The 150-watt solar panel locks into place. No wiring, no electrician.

2

Run the Cable

Plug the armored, fire-retardant cable into the panel. MC4 snap connectors—the same plug-and-play standard used in rooftop solar. It clicks. You're done.

3

Hang the Fan

Mount the all-metal fan in your barn, run-in shed, pavilion, or shelter. A single mounting bracket and two screws hold it in place.

4

Walk Away

The fan starts when the sun comes up and stops when it goes down. No switch to flip, no timer to set, no battery to charge. No maintenance for the life of the product.

Industrial Grade.
Zero Maintenance.

Designed for the places where cheap box fans go to die—or worse, catch fire.

IP67 Waterproof

Fully sealed against dust, rain, mud, and the worst your animals can throw at it. Built for daily weather, not a living room shelf.

Triple Safety System

Motor stall detection, thermal fuse, and 10A inline fuse. Three independent systems—any one prevents a fire. All three built in.

Armored Cable

10' fire-retardant armored cable guards against animal chewing and vandalism. Extensions in 25' and 50'.

Animal Safe

If There's Heat and No Outlet,
There's Pi Solar Fans.

Anywhere people or animals need moving air but the nearest outlet is a problem waiting to be solved.
🏠

Barns & Run-In Sheds

The places where your animals spend the hottest part of the day, and where running permanent power costs thousands.

🏞

Parks & Pavilions

Replace the $700 electrical quote with a 30-minute install. No permits, no trenching, no contractor.

🌱

Greenhouses

Ventilation that peaks exactly when your greenhouse does. Solar output matches heat buildup perfectly.

Disaster Recovery

Fume-free cooling for shelters and triage tents. No generator, no fuel, no noise.

🚚

Horse & Livestock Trailers

Tow vehicles kill power when the engine is off. A roof panel keeps the fan running all day at shows.

👼

Warehouses & Storage

Passive ventilation without the grid tie. Cool stored goods when it matters most—on the hottest days.

What People Are Saying

From the horse owners and parks directors who've been waiting for this.
★★★★★
"I put it up in my run-in shed in April and honestly forgot about it until July when I noticed my horses were actually standing in the shed during the afternoon for the first time ever. I used to drag a 200-foot extension cord out there. Now I just have a fan that works."
★★★★★
"We spent $380,000 to trench power to 12 pavilions and it took 18 months. I put Pi Solar Fans in the other 35 pavilions in a single weekend for a fraction of the cost. No permits, no trenching, no electrician."

Born at the Kitchen Table

This started at our kitchen table. My wife Tracy needed a fan for her horse's run-in shed, and there was nothing on the market that worked. So Ava and I decided to build one. She's 8—she picked the name, helped design the materials, built the prototypes with me, and she decided that 25% of our profits go to animal rescues. I've started four companies, but this is the first one where my daughter is helping build the product, my wife is running marketing, and our horse is the first customer. The hotter the sun gets, the harder the fan blows—Ava will tell you that's just physics.

Ava's idea. Non-negotiable. Built into the company from day one.

Common Questions

Everything you need to know before you order.

Yes. The fan runs at reduced speed on overcast days—less sun means less airflow, but it still moves air. On a partly cloudy day you'll get roughly 50–70% of full speed. The optional battery module keeps the fan running at peak even when clouds roll in.

We estimate 2,000–3,500 CFM at peak solar output. For context, the AC-powered industrial fans this replaces produce 3,000–5,000 CFM. Our peak output lands in the lower end of that industrial range—more than enough to ventilate a run-in shed or pavilion, and far beyond any battery-powered "solar fan" on Amazon.

The fan has an all-metal housing and safety cage—the same construction as industrial barn fans. The cable is armored and fire retardant. The solar panel mounts overhead or on a fence line, out of reach. We designed this for animals, weather, and dust.

Yes. Mount the panel with four screws, plug in the cable, hang the fan. MC4 snap connectors—same standard as rooftop solar. No electrician, no wiring, no permits. Thirty minutes with a screwdriver.

10 years on the motor and electronics. 25 years on the solar panel. The motor uses sealed bearings rated for 50,000+ hours—over 15 years of daily operation. No brushes, belts, or filters to replace.

Yes. Motor, fan blades, safety cage, cable, and fuse are all individually replaceable. Rugged environments cause wear—we'd rather sell you an affordable part than make you buy a whole new system.
